Not into Pokemon, but you like anime and/or appreciate animation? Then watch the movie Spirited Away directed by Hayao Miyazaki and produced by Studio Ghibli. It is simply one of the most beautifully drawn animated movies I have ever seen. It also was inspiration to John Lassiter, the creator of Pixar, which is the group that created Toy Story, The Incredibles, and so on. Here is the trailer for Spirited Away:

You should be able to find the movie fairly easily from various movie services or even at your local library.
It has a wonderful theme of hidden worlds inhabited by fantastic creatures and isn't that part of what summer is all about drawing and dreaming?
