In-Progress Journal

• Make a post every week of something artistic you did. This can include sketches, photos from a walk, baking, sculpting, dancing, singing, acting, writing, etc…
• Explain what you did, what inspired you, and your reflections on the experience/results.
• Feel free to include questions or requests for feedback and/or trouble shooting.
• Include photographs as much as possible.
• Remember to then “share” your post with me so we can all see it.
• I expect at least three posts directly related to your AP pieces.
• As much as you can, comment on each other’s posts and get a conversation going.
• For your first post, think about what inspires you. Is there a mentor who helps you grow? A place you return to for ideas? An activity or topic that always gets your creativity flowing?

This painting is by the American 19th century painter William Hamilton Gibson.  For me, it seems to embody the entire mood of the early summer landscape.
